Screen Australia to back producers delegation to India

Screen Australia will support a producers delegation to attend this year’s International Film Festival of India (IFFI) and the WAVES Film Bazaar in Goa.
The initiative is designed to encourage creative connections that will advance narrative official co-productions under the Australia-India co-production treaty, ratified in 2023.
Eight producers or production companies will receive funding of up to $8,000 each for travel, accommodation, living, insurance, accreditation to attend WAVES Film Bazaar (November 20-24) and IFFI.
Producers of narrative feature films and television series with a successful track record in television or online/direct-to-audience releases are encouraged to apply, provided their current slate includes narrative feature films and/or television series with genuine creative and business potential for official co-production with Indian partners.
Waves Film Bazaar runs November 20-24, while IFFI runs November 20-28.
