A Chatham woman is facing charges after allegedly trying to run over her partner with a vehicle. The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to an intimate partner violence incident on Gray Line in Tilbury at around 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Authorities arrived to find that an argument between two people became heated and a woman allegedly attempted to strike her partner with a vehicle. As a result, an 18-year-old Chatham woman has been charged with assault with a weapon, impaired driving, driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit, and dangerous operation of a vehicle. She will answer the charges in court next month.
