She was an assistant coach at Spain Park High School in Hoover, head coach at John Carroll Catholic High School in Birmingham, went back to Spain Park and concluded her high school coaching career as head coach at Sylacauga High School. Her first college head coaching opportunity came with NCAA Division III LaGrange College (Ga.). Lane-Frazier took the leap of faith to become the 13th head women’s basketball coach at Wiley.
