The Edmonton Oilers shocked the hockey world last summer when they made a trade with the Tampa Bay Lightning to acquire NCAA star Isaac Howard. He also has a great opportunity with the Oilers' moves behind the bench, firing former head coach Kris Knoblauch namely. Knoblauch had a poor reputation with young players and at times, it looked like Howard and fellow rookie Matt Savoie could suffer similar fates to other young players like; Dylan Holloway and Philip Broberg. he too will need to find a way to get the most out of the Oilers depth players. At the very least, he has a long history with great young players, especially with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
