The decision comes months after lawmakers expanded the center’s role by requiring future UI graduates to complete coursework through the program beginning Fall 2028. In its first semester of operation, the Center for Intellectual Freedom offered courses focused on civil discourse, free expression, and the principles of constitutional democracy.
