No Stopping, No Standing Signs Put Up On 35 North And South In Ortley, NJA few days ago, I saw a photo on one of the Ortley or Seaside Facebook groups that along 35, road crews were busy at work putting up no stopping, no standing signs along 35 North and South in Ortley. When my wife and I go to Ortley Beach, we park on 35 near the 3rd Street beach entrance. Parking Is Still Legal Along 35 North And South In Ortley Beach, NJFortunately, it looks like we can stop our angry mob and put away our pitchforks because, according to Patch, the 'no stopping, no standing' signs were installed in a misunderstanding. Apparently, the signs were requested from NJDOT, but only for a very specific spot in Ortley, not the entirety of 35 North and South. The signs are now in the process of being removed, and you shouldn't have any issues parking along 35 North and South in Ortley.
