It also explores Chamberlain’s life not only as one of the most influential postwar sculptors, but also as a creative force, husband and father.
“Every interview, archival discovery and conversation reinforced that John Chamberlain’s greatest impact wasn’t only in the sculptures he created, but in the lives he touched.”
Christina M. Strassfield, executive director of Southampton Arts Center, says that the center is very excited to show HEAARTBEAT, as it is their goal to build communities through art across the East End and beyond.
She says that the documentary will offer visitors a rare look into Chamberlain’s life and legacy.
Tickets are $10 for members of the Southampton Arts Center and $15 for non-members.
