If you’re a recreational runner trying to stay in shape, or an athlete preparing for an autumn marathon, the summer months appear to be getting tougher and tougher.
Strava-owned Runna has revealed a new feature that adjusts workouts based on the heat and humidity runners are subjected to.
With the new Adapt for Heat feature, subscribers may see smarter pacing based on the weather.
It enables users to get the same benefit from the training run, by taking things a little slower, while keeping the training safe and effective.
“With this latest feature, coach-recommended adjustments to training sessions match pace effort to weather conditions, helping people train smarter when the temperature rises.”
