RAWALPINDI: Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah called on Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi to discuss regional security and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation. The Kuwaiti foreign minister was accompanied by Nassar Abdul Rahman J. Al-Mutairi, Kuwait’s ambassador to Pakistan. Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to its ties with Kuwait, saying both countries share a common vision for regional peace, stability, and prosperity. On the other hand, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also held meeting with Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and discussing regional developments. During his meeting with the prime minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, along with federal ministers for defence, commerce, national food security, communications, maritime affairs, and petroleum, as well as senior government officials, were also present.
