The Athens-Limestone County Chamber of Commerce will host members of the Limestone County legislative delegation on Thursday for a Legislative Update as part of its Voices of Limestone County forum series. Scheduled for 9 a.m. on on Thursday, July 30, the event will be held at the Sandridge Hall ballroom on the Athens State University campus. The hour-long session is designed to provide Chamber members, business leaders, and community stakeholders an opportunity to hear directly from state legislators about the 2026 Alabama legislative session and to discuss policy issues that affect Limestone County’s economy, workforce, infrastructure, education, and future growth.
