The Liberal Fire Department recently received a $2,375.00 grant award from Black Hills Energy and the Black Hills Corporation Foundation. A check presentation by local Black Hills Energy employees was made at Station #1. Gas Operations Supervisor, Elyse Torres provided the following comments:“On behalf of Black Hills Energy and the Black Hills Corporation Foundation, it was our honor to present this contribution in support of our local firefighters, both full-time and volunteer. We extend our sincere gratitude to our local firefighters and department leadership for their commitment, sacrifice, and unwavering service. And we look forward to continuing our long-standing relationship with Black Hills and their employees for the benefit of the community.
