An Aberfoyle bike park has been upgraded with a new pump track. The facility, located at Rabbit Hill Bike Park, celebrated its opening on Saturday. A pump track is a track for wheeled sports equipment which does not require pedalling or pushing, with bumps in the track used to maintain momentum. Speaking on behalf of Rabbit Hill Bike Park, Kerry MacPhee said: “Aberfoyle is a wee village, but on the cycling front it has become a real destination. “We are thankful to Shimano Trail Born for supporting the project and helping make Aberfoyle a vibrant, multi-disciplinary cycling destination for all.”
