Simo Valakari is well aware that his St Johnstone team will need to be “streetwise” to prosper in the Premiership. “We know we can’t be this nice team coming out of the Championship playing nice football all the time. Saints aren’t finished in the transfer market yet, but Valakari is happy with the business done so far. “We have been watching Kilmarnock, and they have been watching us,” Valakari told Sky Sports. “As with any Premiership game, it will be tough and we’ll have to be very good with and without the ball.”
