Australian forward Daniel Bennie has joined Dundee United on a season-long loan from EFL Championship outfit QPR. “Daniel is a player we’ve been aware of for some time and we’re delighted to bring him to Dundee United,” boss Jim Goodwin told United’s official website. He turned out for local youth sides Sorrento FC, Football West and ECU Joondalup before joining Perth Glory. The Australia U/20 international, who is also eligible for Scotland, played 26 times for the A-League side before landing a move to QPR. Bennie, now the fourth Aussie at Tannadice, said: “I’m absolutely delighted to get everything sorted and I can’t wait to get going with Dundee United.
