The suspect suddenly shoved the older man, causing him to fall backward and strike his head against a pillar, police said. The impact fractured his skull and caused a deep laceration to the back of his head. EMS responded to the scene and rushed the wounded man to Bellevue Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect on Tuesday evening, showing him walking along the platform and passing through the turnstile at the station. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a light blue graphic across the chest, black cargo shorts, black sneakers and a light blue durag.
