OPRF cross-country hosting third annual Night of Miles

The Oak Park and River Forest High School cross-country programs are inviting the community to participate in their third annual Night of Miles at the school’s track and field stadium.
The event, which is scheduled to start at 5 p.m., Aug. 13 (rain date Aug. 14), serves as the unofficial start of the cross-country season.
The schedule of events is as follows:100-meter dash for students from kindergarten to second grade400-meter dash for grades three through fiveMile run for grades six through eightOne-mile community walkOne-mile community runParticipants who complete registration before Aug. 1 will be guaranteed their preferred shirt size.
