As a proud Puxico High School alum who still resides in the area, Joe Hodges has a strong affinity for the Indians in all sports, in particular basketball. As a result of the town's rampant support of its athletic programs, Puxico's fans earned the 2026 Best Fans for their intense passion and relentless fanaticism for their Indians. Puxico's fans flocked to athletic events consistently and often brought what felt like the entire town to competitions, even on the road. Their efforts in supporting the Indians and Lady Indians resulted in Puxico's fans outnumbering the opposition regularly, with this happening several times on the road. "Our fans are always consistently the best in the area; they always support us win or lose, and we truly appreciate them," Fernetti said.
