Poplar Bluff High star golfer Landon Barks has been associated with winning throughout his three-year tenure as a high school golfer, and the 2026 Semoball Awards further affirmed that distinction. "I was very happy to win this award," Barks said with a smile. "Winning this award during my freshman year was awesome, so having two of the last three awards is pretty awesome." As a freshman in 2024, Barks was the freshman spark the Mules needed to secure a state championship. "That season really helped me out a lot because it helped build me up as I progressed, and it certainly contributed to the success we had this year."
