The SkyWater deal builds on a string of acquisitions IonQ has pursued to grow its quantum capabilities. In 2025, IonQ also acquired Capella Space, Vector Atomic and Skyloom Global, each adding new quantum technology capabilities to the company’s growing portfolio.
