Published 3:14 pm Wednesday, July 29, 2026Charles Henry Blythe, 68, of Frankfort, Kentucky, peacefully departed this life on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Born on August 27, 1957, in Frankfort, Kentucky, Charles was the son of the late Betty Jean Blythe and James Washington, Sr.Affectionately known as “Charlie” by his family and friends, he lived a life marked by service, dedication and compassion. Charlie proudly served his country in the United States Army as a member of the elite 82nd Airborne Division. In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Letitia Blythe. In accordance with Charlie’s wishes, a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
