The Zamfara State Executive Council has approved contracts worth ₦3.306 billion for the rehabilitation and remodelling of the take-off structures of the College of Nursing Sciences, Zurmi. The approval followed the presentation of a memorandum by the Commissioner for Health. The project was divided into two lots, with Lot One awarded to MG Nigeria Limited at ₦1.822 billion and Lot Two awarded to Royal Stone Global Investment Nigeria Limited at ₦1.485 billion. According to the government, the upgraded institution will enhance the state’s capacity to train nurses and other healthcare professionals needed to improve healthcare service delivery. The Executive Council directed relevant ministries, departments and agencies to ensure strict supervision of the project to guarantee compliance with contract specifications and timelines.
