Four security operatives were killed while a soldier was declared missing in an attack on Tudun Bicci community in Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State. But he said contrary to the report making the rounds that a soldier was killed, it was two forest guards and two locals that were killed, while the soldier declared missing. He said the incident happened during a gun duel with bandits that attacked farmers on their farms. He said, “Many of the bandits were killed during the encounter while others fled with gunshot wounds.” The state police command’s public relations officer, SP Bashir Usman, could not be reached to comment on the attack.
