Brazos Valley later rallied for four runs in the home half of the sixth to seize the lead at 4-1. In the bottom of the ninth, Scallon retired Brazos Valley in order to preserve the save. If necessary, Game 3 of the series with Brazos Valley would take place Thursday evening at Riverside Stadium.
