NBA media personality Bill Simmons spoke about the role Jaylen Brown might have to accept with the 76ers this season. The Philadelphia 76ers have transformed themselves overnight into a championship contender following their offseason acquisitions of LeBron James via free agency and Jaylen Brown via trade. “He went from, ‘it’s time for me to have my own team,’ to being the fourth most important person on this team. There are obviously going to have to be some sacrifices amongst the core five of James, Brown, Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid and VJ Edgecombe. But James reportedly did not consider the 76ers a legitimate option until they traded for Brown, and Brown supposedly played a major role in James’ recruitment.
