La Voz Colorado
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s Air Pollution Control Division is seeking input while developing a proposal to reduce air quality impacts from refinery operations.
We’ve spent the last few months reviewing the science and findings from the Colorado Refinery Report.
It could include proposed requirements for short-term actions, like improved maintenance practices, and long-term projects, like installing new equipment, to reduce emissions from the Suncor refinery.
The full report and a plain language overview are available on CDPHE’s web page on air quality and the Suncor refinery.
Visit the Air Quality Control Commission’s web page for more information on upcoming rulemaking hearings, including a long-term calendar and participation guidance.
