Nine Donegal artists working across visual arts, literature, music, architecture and traditional arts have been awarded a combined €158,950 in Arts Council funding. The local recipients are among 258 artists nationwide who will share €4.3 million through the latest round of the Arts Council’s bursary award scheme. The works and learnings developed through these awards benefit both the individual artist, audiences and the wider arts ecosystem in Ireland. Bursaries are awarded across a range of artistic disciplines, reflecting the diverse and fluid nature of arts practice.
