Exports of Donegal timber have recently resumed from Killybegs Harbour.
Local company, Sinbad Marine, assisted Euroforest Ireland in the operation at the south west Donegal port.
“Today, the first load of timber passed through the gates of Killybegs Port in County Donegal, marking the start of exports from our newest port,” they wrote.

When contacted by Donegal Daily, a spokesperson for the State-owned commercial forestry business, Coillte, said it has not exported any timber through Killybegs Harbour ‘to date’.
