The U.S. Interagency Wildland Fire Air Quality Response Program expects smoke in the air to be at its lowest later today, improving to the “moderate” category, but getting worse again overnight.
Tomorrow should return to moderate condition in both afternoon and evening.
The Program says the smoke is mostly coming from fires in the Blue Mountains southeast of Walla Walla.
At last check the Hagen Fire is nearly 32,000 acres in size and about 3% contained.
