MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Twins’ front office has spent months preparing for the possibility they would be buyers at next Monday’s trade deadline. One year after a massive sell-off in which 10 major leaguers were sent away to contending teams, the Twins are now preparing for a much different trade deadline. Unsurprisingly, the priority, Zoll said, is on finding ways to continue to improve the bullpen, which has been a work-in-progress since it was detonated at last year’s trade deadline. Zoll said the Twins were open to a “variety of creative paths” to try to improve the team. In turn, looking forward to finding ways to improve the club over the next stretch.”
