Frankston’s Lucas Bizzell earned first-team honors on the Blue Bell/Texas Sportswriters Association Class 2A All-State Baseball Team, the organization announced from Bryan. Making the third team were Cayuga senior pitcher Gus Wilfong, Beckville freshman pitcher Wesdon Harris and Frankston senior third baseman Carson Bizzell. Carson Bizzell hit .380 with two home runs, five triples, 11 doubles, 47 RBIs, 25 runs, 11 stolen bases and 20 walks. As a pitcher, Carson Bizzell was 10-3 with a 1.62 ERA with 100 strikeouts and 37 walks in 82.1 innings.
