NACOGDOCHES – The Nacogdoches Niners matched a four-run Piney Woods first inning with a trio of four-run frames on the way to a 14-5 win on Tuesday in Mid America League action. The league-leading Niners moved to 46-10 with the win. The Piney Woods TimberHogs dropped to 12-34 with the loss. Jack Johnson had three hits and an RBI in the loss for PIney Woods. Elijah Martinez collected the win for Nacogdoches.
