Albert Duffus, 74, of Forbeshill has organised the Mark Duffus Memorial Golf event at Forres Golf Course since 2014, helping to raise a total of £125,000 - distributed to local projects and national charities. “This year, we donated £2000 to Forres Golf Course because they need a new water tank.” Albert Duffus presenting cheques from his last fundraiser at Forres Golf Course in memory of his son, Mark. This year’s recipients of the memorial proceeds were the Leanchopil Trust, Forres Thistle, young golfer Matty Wilson, Poppyscotland, Erskine and Forres Golf Club. Albert paid tribute to Forres Golf Course for staging the memorial every year, including providing a buffet for participants.
