Ninety-Nine Restaurant may be providing the Boston Red Sox the motivation it needs to turn around its losing streak. The restaurant's annual family promotion, which began in 2008, offers free meals to children when the Red Sox win. The promotion includes a free kids meal with each paid adult entree and remains in effect the day after a Red Sox win. Laddis said he always checks to see whether the Red Sox won the day before he visits. “When the Red Sox win the day before, like (Friday night), it's the cherry on top,” he told The Eagle Tribune.
