BNY has launched its digital transfer agency (TA) capabilities, expanding the firm’s offering to support digitally native funds designed to provide a unified client servicing experience.
According to BNY, this TA addition modernises its fund servicing offering by facilitating both digital and TradFi asset funds in an end-to-end lifecycle across multiple jurisdictions and blockchains.
The company will also offer a digitally native money market fund from its Dreyfus subsidiary, with fund shares represented by BLIQUID tokens.
Regarding the TA’s introduction, Emily Portney, global head of asset servicing at BNY, says: “With this new capability, BNY is helping power the future of financial markets through digital market infrastructure with a global, scalable platform that integrates tokenisation, distribution, and custody.”
Stephanie Pierce, deputy head of BNY Investments, adds: “Digital TA will further strengthen our ability to combine investment and servicing expertise to deliver digital asset solutions that simplify cash and liquidity management.”
