Jamie Higgins is alleged to have carried out the offences over a three-year period including causing her to fear he would be violent towards her. Higgins, 33, of Howard Road, appeared in the dock before District Judge Angela Brereton, sitting at Yeovil. He was charged that between September 22, 2025, and February 11, 2026, he posted videos and images on various social media platforms alluding to his ex, which he was prohibited from doing by a restraining order imposed at Yeovil Magistrates Court on September 22, 2025. All matters were adjourned until August 3 when Higgins must appear before a pre-trial and preparation hearing at the crown court. Until then he was released on bail on condition he does not contact the complainant except via social services or solicitors, or by contact through the family court.
