Streets will be closing in Seymour over the next few days as crews work on the CSX Railroad tracks in the city. According to city officials, the crossing at O’Brien Street is scheduled to close on Thursday and to reopen on Aug. 4th. Crossings at Chestnut Street, Indianapolis Avenue, St. Louis Avenue, and Jeffersonville Avenue will be shut down Aug. 2-4. The work schedule is dependent on the weather. You will see roads and lanes closed while the work is underway.
