Local artist Moira Mackenzie has won the top prize at East Sutherland Art Society's summer exhibition. The trophy is awarded annually in memory of the renowned local artist and former Golspie High School art teacher. Judge Jimmy Yuill with the Steve MacGruer Shield. Flanking him are Kevin O' Neill, chairperson of East Sutherland Art Society, and Jennifer Mackenzie, a committee member. This year's judge was Golspie resident and actor Jimmy Yuill, who announced the winner at the launch of the society’s summer exhibition yesterday evening (Tuesday, July 28).
