The organisers of the Dornoch Highland Games have issued a second statement regarding the shock cancellation of the popular annual event, which was scheduled to take place on Friday, August 7. We have been advised that until we have clearance to start fundraising, it would not be responsible to ask the community to contribute financially. “We shall start fundraising as soon as the police and our advisers agree.”
