Sixteen-year-old Jessica Prideaux took home the ‘best stall’ award at the Young Traders Market held at Darley Street Market in Bradford. Representing her business, Jesy’s Scrunchies, Ms Prideaux impressed judges at the event, which was organised by the National Market Traders’ Federation (NMTF) and featured nine traders from across Yorkshire. Councillor Ian Walker, executive member for neighbourhoods and communities at Bradford Council, said: "Congratulations Jessica on winning the best stall competition. Joe Harrison, CEO of the NMTF, said: "We welcome Bradford District Markets involvement with the Young Market Traders campaign for 2026, so much so, that we are bringing the NMTF’s YTM regional final to Bradford in 2027." Other young traders were also recognised and invited to progress to the next stage of the competition.
