Breck Homes and Bank of Scotland are seeking planning permission from Leeds City Council to build on Cote Lane site. One said: “The scale, density and intensity of the proposed development is excessive and constitutes over-development of the site.” Others said the development would improve the appearance of the vacant site. Planning permission for the scheme would be delegated to the city’s chief planning officer for final approval. Plans for the site were revised since the same applicants proposed to build 133 homes on the former call centre site last year.
