Bradford Crown Court previously heard how, at around lunchtime on March 12, 2025, a man called Mohammed Rizwan was assaulted. Two men, Mohammed Zayad Khan and his nephew, Mohammed Usamah Khan, were identified as suspects in that incident. Dobson, 30, with Rahees Khan, is on trial for perverting the course of justice by obtaining and disseminating confidential information held by West Yorkshire Police. On March 12, the day of the attack on Rizwan, Dobson made multiple searches for information connected to the incident. Rahees Khan, formerly of Granton Street, Bradford, Mohammed Waqqas Khan, of Folkestone Street, Bradford, Hanzalah Saladin, of no fixed abode, Ijaz Khan, of Kimberley Street, Bradford, and Adam Takolia, of no fixed abode, all deny conspiring to murder Mohammed Zayad Khan and Mohammed Usamah Khan.
