LÍONRA Leitir Ceanainn is looking for people who would like to learn Irish but have never had the opportunity before. Maybe you have come to live here from another country or you didn’t have the chance at school to learn Irish? Bairbre Uí Chathail will be teaching a free four week course on Wednesday mornings to absolute beginners. This course will focus on how the letters and sounds work in Irish so that new learners develop the confidence to read and say new words. We hope that this will help people to feel they can have a go and can start using the language in their everyday life.”
