The new branch on Wimbledon Hill Road will open on August 18, and marks the brand's south-west London debut. On the ground floor, guests can soak up the vibrant atmosphere of a southern Italian street scene, complete with an open kitchen and the aroma of freshly baked pizza. Pizza Pilgrims began in 2011 when the Elliot brothers travelled 4,500km from southern Italy to London in a Piaggio Ape van, learning the craft of Neapolitan pizza along the way. To mark the launch, Pizza Pilgrims is offering 50 per cent off during a soft opening from August 10 to 14.
