Emergency services were called to Highgate station this morning (July 29) at around 8am following reports of the incident. The Northern line initially had no service between High Barnet and Archway following the incident. At the time of publication - 9.20am - the line is part suspended with no service between East Finchley and Archway. A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.59am today (29 July) to reports of a person hit by a train at Highgate Underground Station, N6. “Very sadly, a person was pronounced dead at the scene.”
