Northern line at a standstill after fatal track incident – alternative routes

The incident happened at Highgate station in Haringey just before 8am on Wednesday, July 29. Northern lineThere is no service between East Finchley and Archway while emergency services deal with a casualty on the track. Alternative routes between East Finchley and ArchwayPassengers travelling between East Finchley and Archway can use London Buses instead of the Northern line. Alternative routes between Archway and East FinchleyPassengers travelling between Archway and East Finchley are advised to use London Buses, with tickets being accepted because of the disruption. Routes 143 and 234 both provide direct services between the two stations, taking around 12 minutes.
