Detectives are investigating the murder of eight-year-old Vishal Mehrotra, whose disappearance on 29 July 1981 remains unsolved. The incident took place on the day of the royal wedding between Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer. "We are asking anyone with any information relating to Vishal’s disappearance and murder to please get in touch with us – no matter how small or insignificant you think a piece of information might be." Vishal’s sister, Mamta Mehrotra, has also spoken publicly to urge anyone with knowledge of the case to come forward.
