Man who broke into school ordered to pay more than £2700

Cameron Blight, 27, of Azalea Court, appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on July 23.
He pleaded guilty to entering John Hanson Community School as a trespasser on December 27, 2025, intending to cause unlawful damage.
John Hanson School (Image: Google Maps)Magistrates imposed a community order ending on July 22, 2027, requiring 80 hours of unpaid work and up to eight days of appointments with a responsible officer or a nominated person.
Blight was ordered to pay £2,743 compensation for the damage, and £85 in prosecution costs.
The court said Blight’s guilty plea was considered when sentencing.
