Su-34 fighter, high-explosive aerial bombs work in symbiosis — Rostec
[]
TASS
The Sukhoi Su-34 frontline bomber, equipped with high-explosive aerial bombs (HE bombs) with a universal gliding and correction module (UGCM), is an example of a symbiotic relationship that transforms munitions into long-range precision weapons, Russia’s Rostec state corporation reported.
The Russian Defense Ministry regularly reports the destruction of Ukrainian armed forces’ facilities by high-explosive aerial bombs equipped with UGCM.
These munitions are used on Su-34 frontline bombers, which are supplied to the army by the United Aircraft Corporation.
"The use of HE bombs with the UGCM is an example of the perfect symbiosis of combat aircraft and munitions.
Furthermore, high-explosive aerial bombs of 1.5-ton, 500-kg, and 250-kg weight classes are used with the universal gliding and correction module, demonstrating high effectiveness against dispersed targets, concentrations of equipment, and field fortifications.
