Instagram has announced a significant effort to combat the use of photography by individuals with a Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses by "harass[ing] or secretly image strangers in public settings. According to platform head Adam Mosseri, accounts that post such invasive videos will be banned from the platform and their videos removed at that moment. This policy change comes in response to increased public disgust at the use of 'wearable cameras' for secret surveillance and recordings without consent.
