['Jayne Chacko']
News – NBC Boston
As an innocent bystander was recovering from being shot in the face in Hartford, she was also slapped with hundreds of dollars in towing fees that followed the night of the shooting.
Eboneè Grandville was driving home to East Hartford from a friend's house in Hartford when a bullet smashed her car window.
Police are still looking for who fired the gun, and Grandville was left wondering who did this to her.
When she left the hospital after a week, she started asking questions about her car she had to leave behind.
After three weeks, Grandville learned her car was taken to a tow lot in the city, and the cost to get it out totaled more than $1,000.
